Gluten-Free Limoncello Chicken Wings (Dairy-Free)
Suggested Tools
The Ingredients
- 3 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 cup Limoncello, Italian liqueur, natually gluten-free
- 2 lemons
- 1 onion, large
- 1 tbsp thyme, fresh (1 tsp if using dried)
- 1 tbsp oregano, fresh (1 tsp if using dried)
- 1 tbsp rosemary, fresh (1 tsp if using dried)
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp black pepper
The Process
Marinade the Wings
- Quarter the onion and squeeze the lemons
- Combine all the ingredients into a gallow zip lock bag
- Marinate in the refrigerator for 2-6 hours. The longer the wings marinate, the more flavorful they will be.
Grill the Wings
- Preheat the grill to medium.
- Remove the wings from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the wings for 12-15 minutes or until the juices run clear.
- Turn as needed to help keep flareups to a minimum and wings from burning.
- Remove from the grill and enjoy!
