Red sauce is the most popular and traditional pizza sauce you can put on a pizza. We have worked on our no-cook recipe for years and we hope you love it as much as we do.

Many people believe sugar should be added to red sauce, but we don’t agree. The tomatoes are sweet enough but, if you really want to add some sugar, a tablespoon will do.

Suggested Tools

Mixing Bowl Set

The Ingredients

  • 28 oz can crushed San Marzano tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasonings
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

The Process

  • Add the crusted tomatoes to a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Measure and add all the other ingredients.
  • Mix well to combine.

Add to a Pizza

  • This is a no-cook sauce so once you have it mixed, you can add it to your pizza.
  • About 2 oz is a good amount of sauce on a 10" pizza.

  • If you make pizzas every week, store in the fridge for about a week.
  • Or, you can freeze in individual portions and use when needed.
